Nicole is a solution-driver legal executive leader with over a decade of experience in global matters, including diverse areas such as corporate law, transactions, and risk management. She currently serves as the General Counsel and Ethics & Compliance Officer for Zapata AI, where she plays a critical role in navigating the company through its exciting transition to the public market and ensuring its long-term success. Before becoming General Counsel, Nicole served as Deputy General Counsel for Zapata AI, providing legal counsel on a wide range of matters, including product and engineering development, intellectual property, partnerships, corporate governance, commercial transactions and financing. She also spearheaded the development and implementation of the company’s compliance program. Earlier in her career, Nicole served as Director, Legal Counsel at Asurion, where she managed a diverse portfolio of legal matters and served as subject matter expert on commercial contracting across Latin America, Europe, and Asia. She also played a key role in the company’s expansion into new markets. Nicole holds a bachelors degree in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy from Duke University and a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and studied executive presence and influence at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
