I like to think of quantum technology as our attempt to better understand and emulate the way the universe and nature itself operates, so in that sense I can’t think of anything more fundamental and important to be working on. As a designer, I’m also really excited by the possibility that quantum computation will eventually enable us to design the world around us: from new materials and medicines, through to more immersive digital experiences and a level of artificial intelligence that can have a really meaningful impact on every aspect of our lives.

Creativity.
